It is the duty of any organisation to reflect the society in which it operates. This is a belief shared by all the many parts of the Pearson organisation around the world. We have created an inclusive working environment for all our people. Plus we were the first media company in the world to establish a proactive diversity and inclusion team and policy.

We also believe that this commitment is particularly important in South Africa, a society that is only now emerging from a time of prejudice and exclusion. This means that, at PESA, we are sincerely dedicated to building a business whose people are as diverse as the communities in which we work, in which everyone is encouraged to fulfil their potential and which rewards all according to their abilities. We passionately believe that a diverse team is not only preferable, it’s essential.  It allows us to learn from each other, find new ways of solving problems and provides the momentum, and sometimes friction, necessary to keep us dynamic and creative as business.
