Kumon
The Kumon Method was born fifty years ago in a Japanese household. This
step-by-step, incremental approach to maths and reading was designed by Toru
Kumon, a high school teacher, to help his second-grade son to do better in Maths. Toru and his wife later opened a learning centre in their home and as years went by the Kumon Learning Center gained a great reputation as its students' marks improved dramatically.
